Getting Back In The Exercise Habit


It feels too late in the week to worry about food input.

But it's never too late to think about physical output.

I have completed 50 minutes of cycling tonight. Which is really good considering I have had no motivation at all to do it. I was ready to pack up after 2 minutes but told myself to do 6 minutes minimum, then 9, then the full 5 miles. Break. Then the next 5. Big Break. Then odd 10 minutes here and there until I had done:

50 minutes
21.1 miles
510 calories burnt.

I may keep the cycle out a while longer and possibly, not promising, make it up to the full hour before bed if I feel like it. 2 more sets of 5 minutes won't seem a big deal extra. That would be around 600-620 cals burnt per hour and somewhere around 26 miles cycled over an hour again.

I need to get back in the habit.

Heaviest: 20st 9lb. 289lbs.

Currently: 13st 7lb. 189lbs.

Total loss: 6st 13lb. 100lbs.
