Rules On Detox

I am here to admit defeat.

I have learnt 2 very important rules of detox this weekend.

1) Do not do it when pre-menstrual.

2) Do it when you have a lot of things on.

Reasons

1. Despite my best intentions, I gave in yesterday! Having felt that I had probably eaten half of my body mass in healthy fresh vegetables I still felt like I had eaten nothing all day and by 4.30pm was tucking into more than half a pizza (thin crust) with chips. Later in the evening it was toast and a lettuce sandwich. I did stay off caffine though and had 24 hours of drinking just water which was not as bad as I expected. My son may disagree though. I did find I was impatient and easily annoyed yesterday but that could be PMS setting in rather than caffine deprevation. Today I haven't been quite so bad. Ok, I am back on the coffee and I did have a slice of toast and 2 hot cross buns for breakfast but I do feel full after my lunch today. I have also slightly altered my plan. I am having 2 serving spoons of rice with my veg soup/stew with each meal to make it more satisfying and feel like I have eaten a meal rather than just something to piss out. (I am so ladylike today!) By "meal" I mean 2 spoons of rice allowed for lunch, 2 spoons for evening. It makes about 1/3 of a bowl. Anything else is treated as a snack so no more allowed. It's wholegrain rice too so it's still the good stuff.

2. I had NOTHING to do yesterday so just spent most of the day snacking and looking for food. That isn't a good thing. That's why I ate so much. I won't be doing that again.

Additional Notes

Exercise? What's that?

I expect to put on a good 2-3lb this week as all I have done all week is eat and eat and alot of that is crap. What with period due around weigh in day, I am in trouble....

Heaviest: 20st 9lb. 289lbs.

Currently: 13st 7lb. 189lbs.

Total loss: 6st 13lb. 100lbs.
