Comparisons for January 2007


First things first.

Last weeks weight: 15st 11lb
Todays weigh: 15st 9lb.

2lb off.

That leads me nicely onto the following:

Comparison 1

Jan 2005: 20stone 9lbs. BMI 51.2 (289 lbs)
Jan 2006: 18stone 5lbs. BMI 45.5 (257 lbs) 30lbs lighter

Jan 31st 2007: 15stone 9lb. BMI 38.8 (219lbs) 70lbs lighter

5 stone from my heaviest down 12.4 on BMI. Anything seems possible now, No longer Morbidly Obese just at the very highest Obese rung on the ladder

Jan 2005: Clothes size UK 22/24
Jan 2006: Clothes size UK 18/20 Down 2 sizes

Jan 2007: Clothes size UK 16/18

Down another size but not tight fitting. Comfort fit. 3 sizes Smaller!!!!

Jan 2005: Mood down. Feeling ashamed. Feeling disappointed.
Jan 2006: Feeling upbeat. Feeling confident and headstrong. Determined.Overall more content in life

Jan 2007: Feeling prouder than ever before.

Proud that I am achieving my wish of losing weight. Proud of my stamina and determination. Hopeful for more of the same.

Jan 2005: Spotty complexion. Bad eating habits. Comfort eating a regularity.
Jan 2006: better skin. Better eating habits. Eating only when I need and what I need.Feeling in control

Jan 2007: As 2006 but happier than ever

Comparison 5

Jan 2005: Exercise-nothing. Occassional walks.
Jan 2006: Exercising 3 times a week for 30 mins. Not including daily walks.100% more active than this time last year

Jan 2007: Minimum 15 miles cycling 5-6 days a week. Minimum 500 pushups at least 4 times a week (normally daily). Walking 40-60 minutes 2-3 times a week.

I see such VAST changes. That gives me so much more hope and determination than anything can ever say or do.

Although these are only January statistics, I have lost over 3 and a half stone in 9 months, I am so so pleased with that. I have a new little form of confidence and I know I can do this if I try.

Nothing happens overnight but hard work and being able to stick with something results in the following. I do not have a STRICT or confining diet, I eat more or less as I like up to 1500 cals and aim to burn 400 per day by exercise.




Heaviest: 20st 9lb. 289lbs.

Currently: 13st 7lb. 189lbs.

Total loss: 6st 13lb. 100lbs.
